V2X Suisse: Bidirectional charging as an active contribution to grid stability

The V2X Suisse project demonstrated for the first time on a large scale how 50 electric car-sharing vehicles not only charge electricity but also feed it back into the grid. Bidirectionality turns the vehicles into flexible power stations that can compensate for frequency fluctuations and thus contribute to stability and security of supply in the Swiss electricity system.
